I have added reel arms for the 60/66 on the parts page..A word about the reproduction wood parts..that word would be “expensive!” As I am adding new wooden parts to the lineup to replace the exhausted NOS supply, I have found that having these new parts milled is an expensive proposition. But if you think about whats involved in making a quality peice, it is really no surprise. It can be a time consuming process and the hourly labor rate is a bit higher now than back in the 1950’s! So just wanted to let you know that the markup on my end on these wooden parts is minimal to none; so there is no gouging going on; I am just glad to have these parts available.

New Reel Arms For Sale
September 28, 2007Another One Saved
September 14, 2007Had the pleasure of talking to Kevin Perkins of Effingham, IL the other day. Seems he aquired a 72 that had been sitting in a shed since being used one season in ‘64. There were several other all-crops for sale as well, and they went for scrap to China. What a shame! The prices paid for the other machines where in the hundreds; are scrap metal prices that high?? Well, at least we saved one; you can see it here.
