As a promised occasional diversion from All-Crops…I found this hilarious..
Send a Teddy To Your Favorite Islamo-Fascist
December 8, 2007 by yazallcrop..And this little SP-100 went to Ireland
November 30, 2007 by yazallcropReceived a call from Ireland from a collector who shipped a SP-100 in a shipping container from Nebraska to Ireland to add to his collection of farm equipment. Seems there was only one SP-100 that ever made it to Ireland prior and it had since been scrapped. Hope to have more info and pics of the restoration in the coming months…
Another trailer technique
November 7, 2007 by yazallcropJim Mills of Georgetown TX took up took Mike Wikes offer of a free 66 combine as listed in the registry and traveled to MO to pick it up. He handled the over width of the combine wheel base buy adding a fixed dolley wheel inside the right axle. This gave him a new narrower wheel base to permit the combine to be rolled up the trailer.
Corn Head 66 in Action
November 1, 2007 by yazallcropJim Mills of Georgetown TX was kind enough to send video from the 50 Years of Ag Progress show in Rantoul IL. Shown is video of a rare 66 corn head all-crop doing its thing. The owner and operator shown is well known AC collector Marion Klutzke of West Lafayette, Indiana. Be aware this is a large file.

New Reel Arms For Sale
September 28, 2007 by yazallcropI have added reel arms for the 60/66 on the parts page..A word about the reproduction wood parts..that word would be “expensive!” As I am adding new wooden parts to the lineup to replace the exhausted NOS supply, I have found that having these new parts milled is an expensive proposition. But if you think about whats involved in making a quality peice, it is really no surprise. It can be a time consuming process and the hourly labor rate is a bit higher now than back in the 1950’s! So just wanted to let you know that the markup on my end on these wooden parts is minimal to none; so there is no gouging going on; I am just glad to have these parts available.
Another One Saved
September 14, 2007 by yazallcropHad the pleasure of talking to Kevin Perkins of Effingham, IL the other day. Seems he aquired a 72 that had been sitting in a shed since being used one season in ‘64. There were several other all-crops for sale as well, and they went for scrap to China. What a shame! The prices paid for the other machines where in the hundreds; are scrap metal prices that high?? Well, at least we saved one; you can see it here.

Yes,we have no bananas (or starters for a Model B)
August 24, 2007 by yazallcropI posted a message or two about the availability of two free Alll-Crop 66’s in Indiana. I called the owner the next day and asked if she received any calls for the machines. She sure did, about 12; half of them inquiring about the free Oliver 66 tractors….I chuckled and then related to her how many people contact me asking for parts for their Allis generator, forklift, assorted tractors, etc… I dont mind pointing them in the right direction, glad to help, but it sure makes me wonder what part of “Allis-Chalmers All-Crop Resource Site” was misunderstood. Oh well, I guess it comes with the territory!
